Kindness and compassion are the foundation of our physical and emotional health, our well-being, and are necessary for developing healthy and warm-hearted relationships.
Compassion training can help us:
■ Understand the difference between empathy and compassion
■ Avoid or recover from burnout.
■ Learn how to manage our stress response and lower our stress hormones.
■ Develop and maintain healthy, warm-hearted, and rewarding relationships.
■ Notice when we lose our kindness and compassion and take action to restore it.
■ Notice when we hold people outside of our kindness and compassion and include them!
■ Set limits on our helping behaviors and say no when we need to.
■ Stick up for ourselves when we are being mistreated.
■ Heal ourselves from past losses, difficulties, and traumas.
■ Develop a constructive (rather than destructive) relationship with ourselves.
■ Be physically healthier and feel happier and more fulfilled!
