Why do we avoid suffering and by extension, compassion and self-compassion? Mostly because it can be painful or uncomfortable and we don’t want to feel those feelings. We think if we avoid our suffering, it will somehow go away. It doesn’t. It gets worse. In this series we talk about the courage to see suffering in others and ourselves. And what to do about it. Do you want to know how to develop the courage and strength to face difficulties in your life and in the lives of your loved ones? We face suffering to decrease and end suffering.
